Project Giving --Thanksgiving
When my coupon mentor Coupon Mama asked her local community to come together and fill their local soup kitchen, I thought now how can I do something like that in my area? So to start out, I'm going to make two Thanksgiving baskets and give to two families and then with all that I have left (I have plenty of noodles, etc.) I'm going to give my over flow to a local soup kitchen that just started feeding here in my area once a week. It so happens that they feed will be feeding on Thanksgiving so they will have plenty to make Thanksgiving dinner.
I am asking that all my readers think about making a Thanksgiving Basket from either your stock pile or make one with all the great deals you are getting by coupon-ing! It doesn't take much to fill a basket with noodles, canned goods, cranberry sauce, evaporated milk, and all the other fixings we enjoy on Thanksgiving day. You'll be surprised at how fast you can do this....just on Wednesday, I purchased 28 boxes of noodles for less than $3. That's a burger and a drink at a fast food spot.
